Untitled continues the artist’s exploration of multiple identities and the border between the real and the
unreal. It juxtaposes digitally generated images with a selection of fictional diary entries, and shows the
artist’s consideration of the relationship between personal emotions and visual experiences. Visual elements
of the work consists of photographed images that are digitally collaged; stressed by elements that signify
“beauty” and “romance” is the convertibility of the “real” and the “fictional”. Regarding the diary, on the other
hand, the artist imagines herself in Mallorca, Copenhagen, New York and Beijing, in 1980, 1946, 1989,
1930, 1979 and 1914, simultaneously - these are fictional entries logging the artist’s preparation for the
project with signatures of the artist as herself. The artist uses numerous identities, and the audience in turn
are invited to take part in the process by reading and identifying with the figures.
